BioI am 35 and I still learn something about myself everyday.
I am currently cursed with the "he is such a nice guy" label. It sucks. I am a nice guy but apparently being nice doesn't really get you anywhere. Especially in the dating scene. But I refuse to change for anyone. And I don't want anyone to change for me.
I love Boise, even though there are too many people moving here and making things hard on the city and it's beauty and atmosphere. I enjoy going to my friends cabin in McCall and one day will have my own up there. I like to read, watch tv and go to the movies. But I LOVE music. All kinds more or less. I listen to anything from Rock to Blue Grass, Country to Pop, Hip Hop to Jazz. You name it I love it. I just can't play it.
My LJ name comes from the best local band (unfortunately not together anymore) and one of my favorite bands period, The House of Hoi Polloi. Hoi Polloi means "common people" This basically sums up my personality and philosophy. Common people are generally the better people to know and hang out with. But everyone is different, the thing we should all have in common is that those differences don't really mean anything. We are all the same and should accept each other no matter what. But most of all you should be able to accept yourself, which can be much harder than accepting others at times.
I have recently discovered the concept of Polyamory. I have always believed in free love in my heart and it is nice to know that people actually practice that responsibly and not just for sex.
